Daily Duties at Hamilton Sunstrand/Securitas:

● Assisted the Purchasing Department with various tasks including: ordering parts; obtaining quotes for parts to be purchased; entering, printing, and proofreading purchase orders; organizing requisitions and maintaining the current list of items to be purchased; printing any needed blueprints and/or specification sheets, as well as, researching “last buy” information. ● Also provided clerical support to Quality Assurance, Accounting, Human Resources, and Facilities. ● Utilized Microsoft Word, Excel, Access, and Outlook; as well as, J. D. Edwards, Product Center, and BPCS software in a Windows format. ● Operated company switchboard answering outside calls, inside calls, and paging employees. ● Received customers, visitors, and vendors along with maintaining the Visitor’s Log Book. ● Provided access control to facility by checking employee badges and obtaining escorts for visitors to the plant
