Daily Duties at Hovensa Llc:

Oversaw the operations and maintenance of the Area 6 East Environmental units ( Waste Water Treatment, Sulfur Recovery Units and Flares). Organized priorities and and communicated them to maintenance supervision. Made or consulted on process decisions. Organized the workflow daily, prioritizing specific goals. attended the daily operations management meeting and comunicated the state of the work area and provided suggestions for improvement. Also in those meeting received specific instructions on things that were HOT for the shift. mentored and trained operators and consulted on employee and personnel decisions. completed payroll using trutrac(payroll software). Also made work schedules and scheduled vacations and relief. At off shift times (weekends, weekdays from 6 pm to 6 am) I was the primary decision maker and advised the area production supervisor and refinery shift superintendent on process and took part in decision making.
