Daily Duties at Kaiser Permanente Southwood:

Handled telephone triage and advice. Managed emergency triage and care in clinical areas. Started IV's, administered medication,performed nebrulizer treatments,EKGs, wound care,blood draws, Diabetic care and teaching. Vital signs,Implant and read TB test. Assisted doctor with procedures and ambulatory care. Teamleader to other nurses and staff. Would do physican calls backs to patients regarding questions of care, labs results and medications. Troubleshoot for patient complaints and questions about staff or care. Check crash carts and made sure clinic medications and supplies were of adequate amount and within expiration dates status. Able to apply leads and read Telemetry Arrhythmia monitors.
