Daily Duties at Point Loma Credit Union:
Reporting to Supervisory Committee and President/CEO, directed internal audit and compliance functions. Defined audit universe, performed risk analysis, developed and executed internal audit plan. Supervised and trained one auditor and up to 10 temps. Chaired Compliance Committee, implemented new regulations (e.g., GLBA) and coordinated compliance programs. Projects included direct and indirect consumer lending, mortgage lending, collections, fixed assets, branch administration, web site administration, all compliance areas (e.g., BSA/AML, privacy, flood, fair lending, consumer protection regulations, information security). Assisted McGladrey & Pullen with year-end financial statement audits; regulatory examiner liaison.
