Daily Duties at Lockheed Martin Es&S:
NASA Glenn Research ODIN contract support for CommVault Simpana, Tivoli Storage Manager (TSM), NetApp (formerly Network Appliance), UniTree Central File Manager (UCFM), Veritas NetBackup, and Veritas Hierarchical Storage Management (HSM) mass storage systems. Assisted with the decommissioning of the legacy UniTree and Veritas mass storage systems and performed primary responsibility for the integration of the TSM and NetApp systems onto the GRC environment as the Mass Storage Team Leader. Experience with IBM, ADIC/Quantum, and STK ACLS tape libraries. Developed Perl, UNIX shell and Visual Basic scripts to support mass storage systems administration and reporting. Integrated NetApp/Decru DataFort encryption processor into the GRC environment to provide support for Windows and Apple Mac based clients. Performed pilot testing of TSM, Connected and CommVault based backup solutions and provided recommendations both internally and as part of the NASA-ODIN/ACES Desktop Technology Local Backup Operating Excellence Kaizen Out Brief. System administrator for Windows 2008 R2 based CommVault Simpana 9.0 Backup servers and responsible for second-level resolution of client/server installation and integration issues.
