Daily Duties at Crown Imports (Formerly Barton Beers) / Barton Brands:
I was the only person in the company to represent both the Barton Beers and Barton Brands (owned by Constellation Brands). I was their State Manager and Region Manager for Hawaii. I lived in Hawaii. 1). I developed the annual business plan for our wholesaler Paradise Beverages. I conducted trimester reviews and meetings to analyze wholesaler deficiencies and sales opportunities. I developed corrective plans to close the deficiencies. 2). Managed direct report. Developed and worked with him to help grow business. 3). Called on key accounts. Made & gave presentations. Developed rapport with them. 4). Analyze, evaluate and implement market opportunities through field assesments. 5). Develop and implement local marketing plans. 6). Manage budgets, adminstrative work, inventory levels, conduct training and sales meetings. 7). Create strong business relationships and commitment with customers; motivate distributor management and salespersons. Gain "share of mind".
