Daily Duties at Navy Recruiting District New Orleans:
Served as a frontline human resource manager and recruiter for the United States Navy. As Manager conducted interviewed, assessed, and recruited candidates interested in military service. A strong leader and supervisor for largest rural area for the district, I mentored, Coached, manage conflict resolution and managed a team of 18 field recruiters from 6 different offices. Conducted monthly presentations for Transition Assistance Program and conducted up to 30 career fairs at different colleges and universities in three states. Experience in building local partnerships within the community, organizations, business and schools about the Navy opportunities, working with other departments in having a win "win" situation in teaching benefits and employment opportunities that would be open to them. Working at ensuring that collaboration was always in effect with all areas of the different departments. Current Secret Security Clearance with special background investigation.
