Determined appropriate plan of action to investigate, evaluate, negotiate and settle auto and property claims in a timely manner. -Gathered information and evidence by interviewing all related parties, assessing damage, reviewing police reports and conducting scene investigations. -Effectively communicated with witnesses, agents, other insurance companies, repair shops, contractors and others in the course of conducting investigations and settlements of claims. -Analyzed information obtained to establish validity of the claim, coverage, legal liability and fair settlement value. -Offered exceptional customer service by knowing the customers, understanding their concerns and educating them on the entire claims process. -Maintained proficiency in state/federal laws, statutes and insurance regulations as it pertains to claim handling. -Performed various administrative duties in order to maintain over 175 claims by documenting all conversations, written correspondence, transactions and preparing status reports to ensure all issues were resolved in a timely manner.
