Daily Duties at Kratos Defense:

I currently work at Kratos Defense, Washington DC, supporting the NAVSEA Program Executive Office (PEO). This position is focused on developing current budget analysis and metrics for the Ship Self-Defense System (SSDS). I support the goals of the SSDS through consulting and mentoring in the best application of accounting principles, and through analysis and metrics support as follows: • Update Amphibious Ship Journals for Shipbuilding and Conversions, Navy (SCN) funding reconciling Standard Accounting and Reporting System (STARS). • Performed funding execution within the Planning, Programming, Budgeting, and Execution (PPBE) process to successfully prepare Program Directive (PD) funding documents. • Executed funding to various field activities using PRISMS. • Provide field office (data call) with pertinent information for SCN amphibious funding, financial support, and execute mandated financial plans. • Monitor obligation and expenditures for amphibious funding. I have in-depth knowledge of the PPBE process and Navy financial management; excellent Microsoft office skills and power point
