Daily Duties at E Merchandise Group:
Generate POs based on sales, key performance indicators and other metrics towards improving performance. Monitor inventory volume levels, review historical sales and purchasing trends, increase sales and margins. Forecasting future demand, purchase inventory accordingly, conducted product development with vendors and independently. Maintain inventory turnover of 4.0 or higher. Reconcile discrepancies between POs, Accounts Payable, invoices and the inventory database. Create cost savings by installing freight system, working with vendors to install economies of scale, and correcting inefficient operational activities.
