Employed as lead mechanical\electrical engineer; directs other technicians in the performance of selected O&M tasks. Performs multi-purpose duties of Aerostat operational handling, tether inspection, and level-wind operation. Conducts pre-and post-flight inspections, weather observation, and console watch duties. Assists with aerostat inflations and deflations; collaborates with supported units in the utilization of the aerostat; Researches, prepares, and submits written reports and field correspondence addressing all technical, operational and maintenance aspects of the electronic/electrical areas; assists with aerostat inflations and deflations
