Daily Duties at Mary, Queen & Mother Center:

•Supervise day shift- Delegate to nursing staff: RNs, LPNs, CMTs and CNAs •Oversee care for rehab, long-term and hospice residents •Give approval/deny referral on incoming residents based on the care facility is able to give •Participate in Care Plan and Utilization Review meetings with social worker and MDS coordinators •Investigate, triage and complete necessary paperwork on employees that get hurt on the job or fall ill •Provide wound care treatment •Data entry – update monthly pharmacy consults and wound care results for quality assurance •Oversee basic nursing care and chart auditing verifying nursing staff completing their paperwork •Communicate with residents and their family members regarding personal or medical issues •Interview RNs, LPNs, CNAs and write up evaluations •Conduct in-services for RNs, LPNs, CMTs and CNAs •Provide narcotics administration as needed and give discharge planning to residents/family members
