Daily Duties at Drawer Box Specialties, :

Direct and coordinate day-to-day operational aspects of the Traffic Department toward fulfillment of corporate objectives. Ensure that all outgoing products were delivered to customers in a timely and cost-effective manner. Determine staffing requirements: interview, hire, and train new employees to develop their competencies and achieve their maximum level of performance. Assume full responsibility in filing and compiling all claims on damaged and lost shipments. Complete freight bills for outgoing shipments going on common carrier and generate a daily log for both Texas and Orange, California facilities. Plan and coordinate delivery routes for company delivery trucks and process paperwork with COD log and signature log. Instrumental in processing UPS shipments and print shipping labels; answering phone calls from drivers with delivery challenges; and organizing meetings with drivers. Regularly communicate with trucking company sales representatives. Maintain frequent interactions with customers to provide prompt response to inquiries concerning products and services as well as to address and resolve issues/concerns under time constraints.
