Daily Duties at Thornton Tomasetti:
- Structural Analysis and Seismic Analysis of building using SAP2000, ETABS, RAM, SAFE and RISA. - Peer Review of tall concrete buildings (+400 meters) using ETABS. - Strength evaluation of Princeton University building to support new green roof. Adequacy of slab, beams, girders, columns and footing was evaluated. Reinforcement to structural members to support the green roof was calculated. - Design of structural members to support name plate and signage for building. - Review of shop drawings. - Design and analysis of structural members to support heavy equipments and tanks. - Composite design of structural members. - Preparation of structural plans and drafting using Bluebeam, AutoCAD and Revit. - Calculation of Earthquake force using Equivalent Lateral Force Method, Snow Load, Ice Load and Wind Load using ASCE07.
