Daily Duties at Health Port Technologies, Llc:

• Lead the HealthPort esMD initiative which was extremely successful. HealthPort was the first “health information handler” certified to transmit medical records to CMS using esMD. I worked with product management to ensure that current and future applications were “esMD” compatible and that data, history, and statuses were updated. Interfaced with consultants to ensure total understanding of the requirements for esMD transmission and documented the requirements in design specifications. • I became the subject matter expert for the in-house financial applications. This included troubleshooting when issues occurred, working with development to resolve the issues, and creating the design spec when enhancements were required. • Worked with the compliance group in redesigning their breach reporting system. I achieved “buy-in” from all stakeholders to ensure a successful implementation and transition to the new application. • Worked directed with Quality Assurance to ensure testing of my assigned projects in line with the defined and documented business requirements • Assisted in implementing an Agile/Scrum environment into IT. Formed teams along product lines and assured the teams were functioning in a manner that would successfully meet their goals. • Functioned as the business analyst/project manager/product manager for the in-house financial applications, customer portal, and medical records processing. Ensured all stakeholder requirements were met, managed and prioritized the list of requirements, managed risk, and was the liaison with development for my assigned products. • Administrative duties included organizing and facilitating meetings and training workshops; provided the materials required for meeting and training workshops; maintained the project calendars; organized the workload for the other business analysts and set priorities; and managed any conflict that arose.
