Daily Duties at Pheaa:

• Respond to customer inquiries/requests, identify customer needs and interpret procedures to the customer level of comprehension. • Formulate responses to all questions from customers regarding school loan inquiries. • Show empathy for customer problems and resolve issues by taking appropriate action; research and resolve customer disputes. • Assist students in applying for financial program to help with student loan payments. • Determine who should receive and when to give information based on confidentiality laws • Use proactive listening skills and attend to nonverbal cues to better understand the customer perspective. • Use of advanced processing skills to assist with deferred loan payments, enrollments, and forbearances. • Position also required security clearances with the Federal Government.
