Daily Duties at Medline Industries:
Managed Sales Division with sales of $28 Million. Managed 13 sales reps throughout, Central and Northern CA, Washington, Oregon, Nevada, Idaho, and Utah. Determined sales quotas and tracked promotional sales achievement. Managed the larger accounts at the corporate level in the division, these are multi-location accounts with centralized decision makers. Consulted larger accounts on products for their locations Making sales presentations to multiple decision-makers at multiple levels utilizing a consultative sales approach; Establishing and nurturing client relationships; Developing strong relationships with key decision makers; Maintaining existing business and presenting new products;Preparing bids and price quotes; Occasional cold calling. Managing and coaching Territory Managers in consultative selling to Long Term Care Facilities and related markets. Coached Territory Managers in calling on long term care facilities within assigned territory; Making sales presentations to multiple decision-makers;Establishing and nurturing client relationships; Developing strong relationships with key decision makers;Maintaining existing business and presenting new products; Preparing bids and price quotes; Coached reps how to navigate the inner workings of Medline corporate as we were served by several various product divisions that assisted us in selling the over 100,000 SKU's. Occasional cold calling. Spent a 95% of my time riding along with Territory Managers calling on customers. Attended quarterly promo meetings where I assisted in the training of Territory Managers in the corporate promo/spiffed items for sale in the following quarter. Organized dinners and entertainment for division while at these meetings to increase morale and team work. Attended quarterly managers meetings discussing and participating in strategic management direction and discussions.
