Daily Duties at Us Army:

I was responsible for the health, welfare and training of one Non-Commisioned Officer and 10 Soldiers within a Psychological Operations (PSYOP)Detachment in an Airborne Regional PSYOP Company. I supervised and created visual and audio-visual products in support of a Tactical PSYOP Company and the Combined Joint Special Operations Task Force - Afghanistan (CJSOTF-A) using manual, mechanical and electronic multimedia equipment. I was also responsible for the maintenance and accountability of $90,000.00 of organizational and operational equipment. While not overseeing production demands, I developed and implemented policies and training that were, frequently, employed throughout the organization. I also served as a subject matter expert within my field and liasoned with other organizations within our major command. As a subject matter expert I was often tasked to brief executive level representatives of the Department of Defense on the status and effects of previous and ongoing missions within our areas of operation.

What they like about Us Army:

You give high priority to hiring firms with prestige. Market reputation and prestige of a firm may be determined through on-line research, and conversations with individuals working in your target industry. Note that firms "in the public eye" receive a great deal more critical publicity and attention than those operating with more anonymity. So as you assess your employment opportunities, be sure to seek out the positive aspects of the firm's reputation in addition to noting negative publicity the company may have received.
