Daily Duties at Kaiser Permanente:

Daily responsibilities include inspecting equipment and stocking exam rooms. I worked with two physicians, one nurse practitioner, one LVN, and another medical assistant. I obtained measurements of temperatures, blood pressures, heights, and weights prior to preparing patients for provider visits. Prior to provider visits I made sure the appropriate labs or test results were in the chart. Paper patient charts were filed in the module file room using numeric coding. I checked in approximately twenty-two patients per provider daily with these processes. Time management was stressed to provide excellent customer service with adherence to appointment times.
