Daily Duties at Walgreen's Pharmacy:
• Manage work flow and shift rotation. • Greet patients and receive prescription orders. • Update and maintain patient information in computer system. • Strictly follow HIPAA laws. • Schedule appointments for immunizations and Pharmacist consultations. • Process insurance claims and prior authorizations. • Counting, pouring, measuring and weighing of medications and compounding medication. • Answer telephones and questions from the caller or acquire information to direct the caller to the appropriate party. • Manage inventory ordering and receiving. • Maintain rotation of drug stock and overall cleanliness of the pharmacy. • Assist customer with questions and location of items as well as prescription medications. • Complete transactions on the register.
