Daily Duties at J. E. Robert Company, Inc.:
• Local area network administration of one Novell NetWare 4.x server and six Window NT 4.0 servers • Responsible for resource management and file management • Responsible for network devices including switches, hubs and routers • Provide all phases of software and hardware support for Dell workstations using Windows 95/98 and Microsoft Office Suite to 55 users in Dallas Texas. • Provided on site and phone support to 50 users in Mexico City and 20 users in San Juan Puerto Rico. • Provide phone support to all dial up users. • Part of the JER International Team • Setup the network for offices in Mexico City and Puerto Rico including server setup and workstation setup and configuration. • Work with vendors, communication companies, internet service providers and network engineers in Mexico City • Responsible for Lucent phone system
