Daily Duties at 604th Air Support Operations Squadron:
Performs scheduled and unscheduled inspections on 180 M-Series and 10 general purpose vehicles valued in excess of $10 million supporting two Air Support Operations Centers. Determines serviceability, overall condition, and need for repair by diagnostic, visual, and auditory examination. Initiates annual and scheduled inspections. Performs special maintenance on vehicles requiring winterization, shipment, and storage. Ensures all repairs meet safety and serviceability standards. Provides mobile maintenance support in-garrison and while deployed. Documents manpower action on minor and major maintenance work orders. Complies with all Federal and Korean environmental pollution regulations. International Government Purchase Card purchaser for squadron budgeting and managing $10,000 a month in purchases.
