Daily Duties at Presbyterian Healthcare Services:
Recruited by Computer Operations Manager based on outstanding performance as Computer Operations supervisor at Total Business Systems (1984 - 1988). Directed team of 15 including Production Control Coordinators, Tape and Disk backup Specialist, Data Entry Supervisor and Data Entry Operators. Responsible for hiring, recruiting, staff training, performance evaluation and scheduling. Financial and budget duties entailing budget preparation, financial analysis and reporting. Vendor relations ensuring maintenace contracts cover hardware and software equipment in the data center, insuring availability of support on a 24x7x365 basis. Functioned as first line of support for production processing problems and escalation of on-call and support procedures for recovery of operations.
