Daily Duties at Presbyterian Healthcare Services:
Assets management, financial analysis and reporting, budget preparation and reporting, inventory management, vendor relations, contract management and negotiations, software license compliance, hardware configuration management. Directed the process including the planning of procurement, production, inventory control, logistics and distribution. Ensured every step of the process was functioning effectively to avoid costly delays and lost usage opportunities. Communicated needs and objectives to line managers and key personnel in procurement, development/manufacturing, logistics and distribution. Received budget estimates from all departments and critically examined them for correctness, accuracy and completeness. Studied the previous budget and considered the benefits and losses incurred during the previous financial year. Monitored the budget throughout the year. Suggested suitable amendments in the budget to the higher authorities and managerial staff of the concerned departments. Consolidated the data for budget presentation and provided the overview of the financial status to upper management. Managed activities together with IT architects, business, finance, procurement and legal departments in negotiating vendor contracts and analyzing proposals to acquire software, hardware or service resources. Maintained current knowledge of sofware or hardware changes and planning changes appropriate in response to business needs. Managed and tracked software licenses, reviewing and manaing IT resource volume and expenditure purchase agreements. Supervised maintenance and development of tracking systems for software and hardware acquisition and service agreements. Negotiated service level agreements, licensing agreements and assigning compliance levels.
