Daily Duties at Occidental Energy Marketing Inc.:

Supervise the Retail and Wholesale Power and Natural Gas Liquids Accounting staff to handle and streamline the monthly accounting closing processes to meet cut-off deadlines, and ensure completeness and integrity of financial information. Additional responsibilities listed below: • Manage the QSE, CAISO & ERCOT ISO's activities to ensure timely and accurate settlements with no penalties charges, and in compliance with ISO's protocols • Manage natural gas liquid’s Gas Plants, Pipelines, & Fractionation Imbalances, and Storage Contracts to ensure appropriate accounting treatments and valuation per GAAP. Provide management and Operations with real-time data reports to enhance strategic planning • Analyze, review and approve monthly balance sheet and income statement accounts reconciliation to ensure completeness and integrity of financial information • Evaluate internal controls & designs, and perform tests to ensure SOX compliance requirements and timely complete auditors’ requests
