Daily Duties at Hostess Brands:

As the South Business Unit Key Account Sales Manager responsible for profitable sales goal attainment in Associated Wholesale Grocers and their ownership store groups, Schnucks MidSouth Division and Walgreens, I functioned as a successful experienced facilitator, customer account manager and team-builder who identified opportunity gaps to apply solutions, as I built sales, profits, trust, inspiration, excitement and cohesiveness by utilizing my professional education, experience, customer co-operation and the valuable assistance of my associates. I acted as the South's liaison with the Walgreens HQ and the Schnucks HQ National Accounts Teams. Together, we organized and executed a promotional calendar. I helped to identify last year's features and to create the current year's sales that would overlap those past accomplishments. I had to be guided by Cost of Goods to be mindful of profitability and revenue goals. Volume lift and rate reduction had to be delicately considered to reach sales goals. It was my task to input into our system and maintain each item's everyday and promotional pricing that would properly appear on South Business Unit customer invoices. I investigated and resolved any price/payment discrepancies within our system and the customer's. I disseminated information to the field as I facilitate Hostess Brands profitable sales within the customers' systems and our's. For my Hostess Brands associates, I was the source of information for these customers. I presented customer info, dealt with issues and presented in Hostess Brands market management field meetings. I accompanied Hostess Brands field management in the market as we made sales calls to store and district management. I presented features to AWG Power Plus Ad Group co-ordinators, to Schnucks division management, to Schnucks Store Managers and to Walgreens District management to solicit their support of our in-store display efforts and promotions. I regularly presented at Schnucks MidSouth Bakery Manager Meetings various updates, features and incnetive sales contests that I had created. I periodically updated these customers of their sales progress. I made similar quarterly sales calls on Schnucks HQ Category Manager Kevin McFadden in St. Louis. For Schnucks, I co-ordinated the scheduling of our category's vendor planogram store reset team. I served as the customer's Hostess Brands situation-resolver; I was their Hostess Brands primary contact and that of my associates when it came to these customers. I enhanced customer relationships with approved business entertainment

Working for a company with an emphasis on social values and helping society is a clear and important priority for you - a critical factor in who you choose to work for. In contrast to other factors, you place an organization's reputation for fairness and concern for the community above most other aspects of the company. As you search for a new job opportunity, it is usually possible to find out if the company is involved in the community and/or if it is addressing problems and issues in society. Pay special attention to non-profit organizations and those specifically involved in social action. Moreover, speaking with current and former employees should enlighten you to perceptions of the fairness of the company's leaders and the treatment of employees.
