Supported sales activities and conducted sales across 12 state area through application development, instrument installations, customer education, training, and new product introduction. Role included sales of service contracts and consumables. Managed high revenue producing accounts, fostering relationships through collaborations and networking, identifying new opportunities and closing sales. Developed and implemented sales plans for instrumentation and consumable product lines for genetic analysis and other molecular biology applications. Applications included qPCR, genotyping, DNA sequencing, mutation detection, gene copy number and gene expression analysis. Plans included an application- and disease-based focus to address a total solutions selling strategy. Established scientific collaborations to increase opportunities for further market penetration and increase visibility.
