Daily Duties at North Carolina Justice Academy:

. This position oversees the Academy Business Office, two research associates, the Facilities Maintenance Supervisor and the Instructional Support Manager Supervisor. There are approximately 42 employees in this division. This position serves as Chief Fiscal Officer and reports directly to the Director and is second in command to the Director. The position oversees an agency budget of over 7 million dollars. The position directs, plans and organizes the national accreditation program for the Justice Academy. The position serves as principal liaison with outside agencies that schedule facilities at the East Campus. The position is also responsible for planning institutional advancement(development and capital expansion)activities for the Justice Academy. This position approves contractual services for part-time personnel. This position approves grant writing activities for the agency. This position holds major responsibilities with vendor selection and liaison of the Academy’s Learning Management System for online learning, campus wide digital signage system and maintenance of video servers for use with streaming media.
