Responsible for maintaining and supervising the operations of damage control gear and systems including the ship’s fire extinguishing and Fire Main Systems, fire-fighting equipment, and Chemical, Biological, Radiological Defense gear. Trained a crew of 273 people in new damage control equipment and tactics. Managed the work and development of 20 personnel.
