Daily Duties at The Mackin Group, Inc. :
I became involved in the LIHTC program. I oversaw for the management company 2 individual rehabs or tax credit properties. I was the liason between the management company and the non profit CDC. I was involved in relocating tenants, and qualifying the tenants during the initial rehab. I would perform employee verifications, asset verifications, land lord verifications and credit checks. I had to lease up 36 units with qualified tenants and I was able to do this successfully before the placed in service date so the owner would receive the tax benefits. The second project was a scattered site which I was responsible for lease up of 50 affordable units. I successfully leased up all of these initial units. I was responsible for maintaining all of the original tenant files and completing the recertification paper work.
