Daily Duties at Pinellas County Licensing Board:

Executive position with full responsibilities for the day-to-day operations of the County child care licensing program and the Pinellas County Licensing Board. Streamlined licensing program resulting in efficiencies in inspections, eliminated duplication of services and waste, utilized skill sets with appropriate task, and increased customer service for the provider. Established policies and procedures to improve provider communication, enforcement compliance, and fine reductions. Searched for workable solutions to resolve challenging situations and developed collaborative community relationships to enhance partnerships and teamwork. Directed Board business, conducted regular and special Board meetings on a scheduled basis. Recommended new child care rules and regulations to be promulgated by the Pinellas County Licensing Board and collaborated with legal representation and child care licensing staff to implement the enforcement policy of Chapter 61-2681 Laws of Florida.
