Daily Duties at Arca:
Served as Data Control Associate for organization providing claims and risk management services to various hospitals and private practices. Accurately entered data from medical malpractice claims into database. Planned and managed physician’s database including coverage information. Key player in reviewing and submitting medical malpractice claims to NY State Department of Health. Offered outside defense counsel with insurance disclosure pursuant to CPLR 3101 (f). Communicated with attorneys and nurse investigators to validate claim information. • Consistently analyzed and determined errors in paperwork submitted by attorneys and/or nurse investigators, ensuring accuracy before entering information into database. • Successfully managed confidential and time-sensitive materials. • Received raises each year after annual reviews for exceptional performance.
