Key responsibilities for all projects • Managed complex projects through entire project lifecycle (inception, design, development, integration and test, trial, deployment, and support services). • Led facility site reviews, inventory, coordinated scoping and architecture review activities for overall IT migration and followed process for approval of architecture review board. • Identified and tracked all Roadmap and application releases, accounting for interdependencies between applications, and critical dates for Plan of Record (POR) programs. • Reviewed and enforced completeness of migration and SW release packages, to include processes, tools, technologies, and documents required to move a release into production. • Managed last minute re-planning of releases and deployment plans based on business needs, environmental stability, or issues. • Led deployment planning meetings and walkthroughs with all supporting organizations - Application, Email, and Voice Teams - ID Servers, SW, System Requirements, Licensing, & Functionality. Created the Architecture layout. • Ensured all issues with system migration and releases that occur prior to, during or after deployment are tracked, communicated and resolved. • Collaborated with the Verizon WAN team to plan the changing Web and Email services (implement DSL and T1 Internet Access) test through post, in addition to maintaining and tracking issues aligned with releases. Company Name: Travelways, Inc., Blue Bell PA; Title: Project Manager Size/Scope: 400 nodes, Migrated Sites and Upgraded Infrastructure, using an NT Platform, with Citrix Server for Mas90 data migration, New Exchange Server, New Internet Vendor for T1 speed. Annual budget: NA Services Provided: • Developed formula for Uninterrupted Power Supply devices, WAN interface – Internet Speed, Web, Email interface, LAN interface and Servers – router type, patch panel ports, switch ports, file, print, and application needs. • Administered and setup Support Resources by utilizing gotravelwaysys.com website. • Purchased and installed Switches, Hubs, Racks, and UPS devices. • Led Troubleshooting Internet & Server issues, reinstalled NT Server on PDC, and Applied new IP configurations. • Actual completion date: June 2001. Company Name: GPS & VIP Tours, Los Angeles, CA; Title: Project Manager Size/Scope: 1200 nodes, Migrated 3 facilities and Infrastructure into one-site, Integrated Systems and Upgraded Proprietary database using multiple platforms - NT 4.0, Novell 5.X, and Mas90. Annual budget: NA Services Provided: • Assigned Sub-contractors for Voice system upgrades and client side installations. • Managed updates of Novell and NT servers. • Secured backup and maintenance of data and devices by implementing a new Monitoring system – Audit and Inventory, Remote Access, Backup, and Disaster Recovery, Ticketing, and Network Monitoring. • Was responsible for purchasing all hardware and software. • Collaborated on Accounting software database backups, and system upgrades with proprietary software (Mas90). • Trained Sub-contractors on new policies and procedures. • Actual or Projected completion date: December 2000. Company Name: GATX Chemical Logistics, Plymouth Meeting, PA; Title: Project Manager Size/Scope: 40 nodes, Migrated Infrastructure, Integrated New Verizon Centrex Voice System, Troubleshot Proprietary Software and Connectivity - platforms Novell Servers, NT Client Lotus Notes Mail. Annual budget: NA Services Provided: • Led layout for new Verizon Voice & Data systems. • Managed all major projects within the Corporate Services departments, including development of the Service Level Agreements, Disaster Recovery plans & Crisis Management processes. • Purchased Service for lines, migrated LAN, and configured new remote dial-up access. • Coordinated tasks by GATX Corporate IT Services personnel in support of departments' projects. • Managed vendor negotiations, contract rates,, and scheduling for new T1/Internet, migrated to new NT Platform, Citrix Server, and Exchange Server. • Reported status updates and meetings to clients/Executives (office calendar, project employee workload). • Recruited, trained and assigned Technical Specialists/Vendors on client methodology, testing techniques, and D/R skills - project overviews, tasks, timelines, deliverables, and issue reporting and escalation (matrix). • Actual completion date: June 2000.
