Daily Duties at Hillcrest Bank:
Maintains existing user, including system security, and assigns group membership as required. Creates new users and deletes terminated users as needed. Assists with installing and maintaining local area network hardware and software, including servers, peripherals, network notes, terminals, e-mail systems, virus protection, related network communications equipment and coordination of wiring. Coordinates installation of hardware and software by others. Responds to users’ needs and questions concerning their access to network resources, and the operation of various software programs. Reviews daily backup(s), gathers information on completion of backups and adherence to procedures, documents and reports findings. Assists with maintaining documentation on technology assets hardware and software inventory. Assists with maintaining and updating network documentation Assists with research to best utilize existing and future technology resources and assets. Assists with testing and installations of software upgrades, patches and new programs. Provides monthly management reports on relevant systems statistics, related projects as needed. Telecommunications: Coordinates with departments to troubleshoot telecommunications issues on VoIP. Assists with monitoring phone system performance Provides basic training for new users (voice mail, retrieving messages, etc.) Acts as a backup to maintaining voice mail system (inputs and deletes users) Coordinates with third-party vendors for repairs, maintenance, and new line orders, etc. Provide monthly management reports on relevant telecommunications system statistics
