Daily Duties at Miami Dade College, Wolfson Campus:
Responsible for the effective operation of the Office of the Provost. The Provost is the COO of the eight-campus, 175,000 student college. Responsible to exercise initiative, using independent judgment, establishing priorities and posessing a thorough working knowledge of College policies, procedures, and systems. Took a lead role in implementing and following up special projects, ensuring appropriate communication among all individuals involved. Wrote and edited correspondence as well as documents for publication; developed and monitored area budgets to assure appropriate expenditures. Participated in special committees and special events as appointed by the College President.
