Daily Duties at Aurora Health Care:

Managed a team of two pharmacists and three technicians for this long-term care/retail pharmacy. Transitioned the pharmacy from a seven-day fill to a 28-day fill cycle. Maintained the pharmacy computer system. Entered physician orders while assessing regimens for appropriate medication usage, allergies, drug interactions, and dosing. Responsible for Medicaid billing including correction of rejected claims. Provided drug information to nursing staff. Interfaced with director of nursing and nursing home administration. Provided customer service and patient counseling. Used QS/1 software.
