Taught Professional Pharmacy Technician, a course at Springfield Technical Community College. The topics covered include the top 200 prescription medications, controlled substances, pharmacy calculations, drug and medical terminology, biopharmaceutics (pharmacokinetics, and pharmacodynamics), anatomy and disease states, drug pharmacology. The teaching style used case based scenarios. There is also a FastRx retail simulation, an aseptic technique exercise, and compounding lab. Teaching and demonstrating proper aseptic technique of making an IV admixture.
