Daily Duties at University Of New Orleans, College Of Education And Human Development:
teach graduate series of statistics courses; serve as methodologist for quantitative and mixed methods dissertations; serve on department, college, & university; pursue own research agenda Teaching responsibilities include prepare lectures, orchestrate class discussions, compose all assessment materials, and grade assignments. Assignments include journal article reviews, analysis of SPSS software output in terms of current policy and social objectives, and problem sets that require creative problem solving methods. I generally teach 2 sections of the introductory course each semester (including summer school) with enrollments of up to 30 students. I teach the intermediate course in the fall with enrollments averaging 15 students. In the spring, I teach the advanced course with around 10 students enrolled.
