• Supervised 13 Marines, including scheduling work hours and resolving conflicts. • Supervise daily workload and ensure temporary additional duty (TAD) travel claims are Computed and processed in accordance with current regulations and directives. • Audit Temporary additional duty travel claims to ensure proper accuracy and completeness prior to payment. • Investigated fraudulent travel claims, errant payments, and other payroll related problems to ascertain reasonable solutions to problems. • Researched prior data and background information to rectify errant payments. • Maintained tracking systems for incoming and outgoing official documents. • Served as military pay and travel examiner/auditor, which included computing, processing and issuing employee paychecks, statements of earnings and deductions. • Audited basic military pay and entitlements to ensure proper accuracy and completeness. • Stayed abreast with tax and deduction changes and other related payroll information.
