* Managed Equity QA group of five responsible for the manual and automated testing of in house products developed for the upstairs traders. Testing included Test Planning, Test Development and Execution, Test Result Documentation, Defect Tracking and Summary Report Analysis using Test Director. * Proven record of minimizing production issues and subsequent maintenance releases to fix. • Team Leader and Lead Tester on applications related to OMS, which contain highly complex business logic. * Led migration of LEGO system to Pinpoint (Single Order Entry GUI used by ETF Desk). Managed running of both systems in tandem to eliminate downtime or disruption. Tested Pinpoint fully to ensure 100% performance on cut-over Oversaw cut-over and shut down of LEGO. * Given understanding of P&L systems, ensured books were updated correctly with the executions received from the market. * Enhanced testing process by performing gap analysis, working with Business Analysts and Traders closely and understanding their usage of application. Based on feedback received, updated testing strategy to cover complete testing. * Reviewed requirement documents with business analysts, product managers and developers. Wrote test plans and test cases using system design documents or verbal input. * Implemented testing procedures from entering requirements by BA or PM to sign off process by QA. Ensured all involved with the project followed the procedures to minimize mistakes and subsequent maintenance releases. * Worked with automation team to develop automation scripts for new functionality and maintain existing automated scripts with new releases and changing functionality. * Ensured that team executing manual test cases understood new functionality and was tested correctly. * Performed GUI testing, UNIX processes connected with GUI and FIX testing, Functionality Testing, Regression testing, performance testing, stress testing, Disaster Recovery testing, EOD Testing and UAT to cover FTB testing. * Managed FIX certification with different testing environment providers for different markets. * Created and executed SQL queries to verify data information are stored correctly in the corresponding Database. * Provided management with updates of the product quality through the use of clear and concise problem reports and timely and accurate escalation of problems. * Worked with Environment support team to maintain testing environment and tested rollback procedures if required in emergency to ensure 100% functionality. * Worked with compliance team to secure sign off when releasing regulations related changes to production. * Partnered with Production Support Team to deploy software and executed Post implementation test with them.
