Daily Duties at Financial West Group:
Overall operations managment and strategic planning of corporate office and sales force (approximately 30 and 380 respectively). Interfaced with clearing firm, Fidelity National and UBS Paine Weber. Dealt with investor, sales rep, and staff issues and queries as needed. Reviewed sales figures and revenues. Handled regulatory (FINRA) inquiries or issues as needed. Reviewed financial position of company and regulatory financial statement reporting. Worked closely with complaince officers to review any issues relative to compliance with regulatory guidelines regarding sales practices and advertising. Reviewed and headed due diligence committee that reviewed any new products for sale by sales force. Addressed any issues with clearing firm relative to order processing, firm's equity, mutual fund or bond transactions or charges for services they provided. Reviewed and approved all third party vendor contracts based on service/supply cost and needs of the firm.
