Daily Duties at American Peptide Company:
Was the Department Head of Quality Assurance reporting directly to the VP of Quality and managed daily QA operations, staff and systems to ensure compliance with all quality, regulatory and GMP/GLP requirements. • Assigning and managing daily activities of QA staff; annual review and evaluation of personnel • Participating in company audits performed by clients or other auditors • Leading Quality meetings with Heads of all Departments and Upper Management • Managing and handling critical Quality Systems: Deviation, CAPA, Change Control, NCMR, Product Complaints, Return/Recall, OOS, Internal/External Audits, Training, etc. • Auditing, evaluating and improving existing procedures / policies to bring Quality System to GMP/GLP regulatory requirements • Review and approval of various documents, such as Batch Records, Specifications, SOPs, Protocols and Reports for Stability Studies, Qualifications, Validations, etc. • Approval and disposition of final product • Interacting and communicating quality related tasks and issues with various company personnel • Performing External Audits, evaluation and approval of vendors and service organizations • Communicating with customers, resolving quality related questions, issues, questionnaires, etc.
