Daily Duties at Usmc:
• In charge of several Marines assigned their own helicopter • In charge of maintenance of aircraft • Inspected and provided the first signature certifying the helicopter for safe flight operations to transport the President of the United States • Utilized computer tracked maintenance logs, as well as intricate computer network to obtain information necessary for mission completion • Responsible for the training and counseling of new mechanics for Presidential, Vice Presidential, Heads of State and other VIP missions • Supervised and inspected maintenance as a representative of the Quality Assurance Department • Was presented an award for exceptional job proficiency and overall knowledge of the aircraft and duties associated with supporting the President of the United States • Duties also include maintaining the appearance of the extremely high profile aircraft.
