Daily Duties at Aipso:
• Plan, direct and coordinate activities in electronic data processing and analysis, information systems and system analysis. o Schedule and coordinate workflow for 8 of 14 staff members o Monitor production timeliness and quality for 6 major data processing systems and all sub-systems thereof o Anticipate upcoming project workload and identify resource needs o Work closely with business partners, customers and staff to ensure timely communications, support and consistent follow-through on requests, questions, issues/problems and action items o Ensure quality and integrity of products and services, taking corrective action to address gaps in process and implementing controls to mitigate recurrence of production o o • Develop skill levels of staff necessary for department success and employee growth. o Create specific goals for each direct reporting staff member, addressing areas of responsibilities as well as competency and skill development o Collaborate with two other Team Leads to objectively review staff accomplishments, discuss development needs and document progress in meeting performance goals o Review goals with direct reports quarterly to set clear performance expectations, monitor progress and provide constructive feedback focusing on accomplishments/progress and areas of further development o Deal effectively with underperformers including identifying and addressing specific performance issues and documenting areas of improvement, expectations and time frames. Meeting with staff on regularly scheduled “check-in” basis clearly communicating development needs, monitoring and documenting progress. Create and monitor Individual Development Plans as necessary. o Actively recognize and communicate outstanding performance and extraordinary accomplishments/achievements of staff members o For direct and matrix managed staff, develop significant roles for staff members in order to best use their talents and build upon their expertise by: Recognizing and leveraging their strengths and abilities Developing and enhancing their skills, effectiveness and independence Providing them opportunities to be challenged Involving them in all relevant planning/work sessions and meetings o Advocated at the company level for recognition of outstanding achievements on the part of department members and business partners o o
