Daily Duties at Smg – The Moscone Center:
Proven ability to maximize profit margins by regulating the organization’s financial planning and accounting practices as well as its relationship with the corporate office and the financial community. Facilitate monthly financial statement preparation for the Food and Beverage and Facility Services divisions. Direct staff functions within the Accounting, Payroll, Vault, and IT departments and oversee policies with regards to direct cash handling, budgeting, audit, tax, accounting, asset management, long range forecasting, and insurance activities. Appraise the organization’s financial position by evaluating economic, business, financial conditions, and issuing reports on financial stability, liquidity, growth, and the impact on the organization’s policies and operations.
