Daily Duties at Angiotech Pharmaceuticals:

Full Company start up from scratch and was able to hire, contract, participate in facility design, validation, IOQ, Documentation development and review, technical transfer of product successfully in a 99% disposable process. Other duties include: manageing clinical production, Ensuring facility compliance for safety and environmental goals and other regulatory requirements, worked with the Technical Operations to ensure production process performance occurs per standards and are improved, Utilized technical acumen in biotechnology to ensure techncal projects are developed in coordination with the strategic plans, guided and directed new product introductions and transfers, analyzed the production plan for capacity constraints and review via sales and operations planning processes, provided support and leadership to the operational organization in support of operational goals, overseen the supervision of personnel, including selection and performace reviews, review and interpret operational and Financial data and provide reports and communication to team, develop, review and approve budgets and expenditures, facilitate business applications for control of operational processes and inventory to provide accurate product manufacturing cost, develop and implement operation policies and procedures are required, evaluate and assist the organization with new products, products specs and quality support, initiate solutions to support lean business processes and develop business acumen, Safety, environmental, cost and operational goals within target expectations, developed and communicated improvement plans and indicators to operations and quality teams,monitor the production and release of material continuously, facilitate problem solving when disturbances arise, develop and manage the action plans of the flow functions, manage training processes to carry out the prescribed objectives, anticipate future training needs and recognize gaps in operations/maintenance, utilize various communication formats to reinforce the strategic vision and objectives as well as targets and performance and managed operational (current capital, strategic capital) projects, ensured success and operational organizational involvement and leadership.
