Daily Duties at Northern Illinois University:

• Worked on a National Institute of Health, US, project titled ‘Hybrid Active Noise Control for Infant Incubators’. • Studied the problems of complexity of noise types and different noise source locations in an infant incubator. • Developed and tested a multiple-channel hybrid active noise cancellation system for the Neonatal Intensive Care Units (NICU) using Matlab simulations. • Implemented the multi-channel hybrid ANC system in real – time using an incubator provided by GE™ Healthcare. • Experience working with various audio and signal processing equipment such as audio recorders, oscilloscopes, spectrum analyzers, function generators, speakers, microphones and amplifiers etc. • Worked on Global Active Noise Cancellation and Snore Active Noise Cancellation in an acoustic chamber.
