Daily Duties at Newport News Shipbuilding:

Wrote complex Operations/Test Procedures and Operating Instructions utilizing Ship Installation Drawings (SIDs), system procedures, MIL-SPECs, MIL-Standards, shipyard procedures and applicable quality requirements. Implemented procedures by coordinating vendor, trade, and test department personnel in support of post overhaul, maintenance and upgrade testing and verification. Implemented Submarine Assurance Engineering and Integrated Logistics Support efforts by; performing engineering analysis of components and systems onboard United States Navy Nuclear submarines to determine relaxation of design constraints. Developed maintenance specifications and required logistics support based on Predictive Maintenance efforts to extend component lifecycles.
