Daily Duties at Applied Materials:

Manage daily operations of local and interstate dedicated fleets. Handle all traffic operational activities including; revenue recognition, freight bill auditing to contracts and development of cost effective transportation solutions. Negotiate all truckload lane specific pricing and award the business to the selected carriers based on cost effective pricing without sacrificing service. Coordinate and manage transition of business to new carriers, ensuring policies are adhered to and any issues are resolved expeditiously. Educate suppliers on transportation procedures and compliance to the routing guide. Assist internal customers on the requirements of the transportation process and procedures. Provide support, direction and resolution of all transportation issues. Coordinate all activities between Central Dispatch and the warehouse operation. Review off site warehouse activities and storage, ensuring accurate square footage and proper billing of warehouse handling.
