RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE SUPERVISING, COORDINATING, PARTICIPATING IN ACTIVITIES OF 26 EMPLOYEES, FISCAL PLANNING, COMPLYING WITH N.Y. STATE AND FEDERAL REGULATIONS (JCAHO, CLIAA 88, OSHA, AND FDA), CONTINUOUS EDUCATION,EXPANDING IN-HOUSE TEST MENU, INITIATED MOBILE COURIER SERVICE, MEMBER OF THE SAFETY COMMITTEE, PERFORMANCE APPRAISALS, QUALITY/PERFORMANCE IMPROVEMENT,SCHEDULING, AND COORDINATING OF PATIENT CARE SERVICES WITH ALL CLINICAL DEPARTMENTS WHILE MAINTAINING AND UTILIZING BENCH SKILLS IN ALL AREAS OF THE LABORATORY, INCLUDING PHLEBOTOMY.
